Finding Value Before the Market Catches Up.
The dynasty market is sending a clear message entering Week 7: running backs are back in demand.
Nine of this week’s ten biggest Sharp Tracker risers play running back. Meanwhile, De’Von Achane suffered the largest decline of any player in our report, Michael Wilson surged up the rankings, and several established wide receivers continued losing ground.
But here’s the question dynasty managers should be asking:
Are these market movements justified, or are managers creating buying and selling opportunities by reacting too aggressively?
This week’s Delta Fantasy Sharp Tracker goes beyond the rankings.
Using trade information from Play for Keeps Dynasty, we examined a database of 2,107 recorded transactions involving this week’s 20 biggest movers. We narrowed our primary analysis to 536 transactions labeled within the past seven days.
Rather than relying exclusively on dynasty trade calculators, we’re examining what managers are actually giving up to acquire these players.
And several of the results deserve your attention.
The Week 6 Sharp Tracker Rankings
Top 10 Risers
| Rank | Player | Movement |
| 1 | Michael Wilson | +23 |
| 2 | Jaylen Warren | +18 |
| 3 | Ollie Gordon | +14 |
| 4 | Chuba Hubbard | +14 |
| 5 | Kenneth Walker | +11 |
| 6 | Rhamondre Stevenson | +10 |
| 7 | Aaron Jones | +10 |
| 8 | Breece Hall | +10 |
| 9 | Bhayshul Tuten | +9 |
| 10 | Christian McCaffrey | +8 |
Top 10 Fallers
| Rank | Player | Movement |
| 1 | De’Von Achane | -27 |
| 2 | Caleb Douglas | -10 |
| 3 | Ladd McConkey | -9 |
| 4 | Omar Cooper | -9 |
| 5 | Davante Adams | -8 |
| 6 | Deshaun Watson | -8 |
| 7 | Emanuel Wilson | -7 |
| 8 | Roman Wilson | -7 |
| 9 | Antonio Williams | -7 |
| 10 | Tyson Bagent | -6 |
The positional imbalance among the risers is striking. This isn’t simply a case of young prospects gaining value. Established veterans such as Aaron Jones, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Christian McCaffrey are climbing alongside younger running backs.
That suggests dynasty managers are placing considerable value on immediate running back production.
For rebuilding teams, that creates an opportunity.
When contenders become willing to pay for current production, rebuilding managers should be willing to listen.
Michael Wilson: The Market’s Biggest Riser
Sharp Tracker: +23 | 40 recent trades
Michael Wilson leads this week’s risers, and his completed trades demonstrate just how differently dynasty managers are valuing him.
Consider two recent transactions:
- Michael Wilson was acquired for a 2027 late second-round pick and a 2028 second.
- Another manager acquired Wilson for a 2027 late third and a 2028 first.
Those are substantially different valuations.
One manager treated Wilson as an asset worth approximately two second-round selections. Another was willing to surrender a future first, albeit with a third-round pick included in the exchange.
That disparity is precisely what dynasty managers should look for.
A rising market doesn’t necessarily mean every manager has adjusted their valuation equally. Some are still operating on an older price, while others are willing to pay a premium.
Delta Fantasy Verdict: SELL HIGH — at the right price.
We’re not suggesting Wilson must be moved. But if another manager is willing to offer a future first-round pick, that deserves serious consideration.
The objective isn’t simply to sell a player because his value increased.
It’s to capitalize when another manager values him more aggressively than you do.
De’Von Achane: Is the Dynasty Market Overreacting?
Sharp Tracker: -27 | 58 recent trades
Achane experienced the largest decline of any player in this week’s rankings.
A 27-point drop immediately attracts attention, especially for a player with the kind of explosive upside Achane offers.
However, his completed transactions suggest that managers haven’t universally abandoned his long-term value.
Recent trades include:
- Achane plus a 2027 first exchanged for Ashton Jeanty.
- Achane plus a 2027 first exchanged for Kenneth Walker and Kimani Vidal.
These aren’t insignificant transactions. Achane remains an important piece in deals involving valuable dynasty assets.
It’s also important to recognize what those trades don’t establish.
Because Achane was packaged with a first-round selection, we cannot assign the entire return to Achane himself.
Nevertheless, they demonstrate that managers are still willing to build substantial trades around him.
Delta Fantasy Verdict: BUY-LOW WATCHLIST.
Achane is the type of player we want to investigate when market sentiment turns negative.
The question isn’t whether his value has fallen. The tracker has already established that.
The question is whether his actual dynasty outlook has deteriorated enough to justify the decline.
If a manager is willing to move him at a meaningful discount because of recent disappointment, that’s a conversation worth starting.
We wouldn’t blindly pay his previous market price, but we also wouldn’t automatically sell into the largest decline of the week.
Jaylen Warren: The Market Is Finally Catching Up
Sharp Tracker: +18 | 32 recent trades
Warren’s rise is particularly interesting because his value has been a topic of discussion at Delta Fantasy since before the season.
We previously identified Warren as a player capable of outperforming his acquisition cost.
Now the dynasty market is beginning to recognize his value.
But recent trades suggest the adjustment isn’t complete.
Among the transactions recorded:
- Warren acquired for a 2027 second and a 2027 fourth.
- Warren exchanged straight up for D’Andre Swift.
Those prices suggest Warren is still accessible without surrendering premium dynasty capital.
For a contender needing running back production, that matters.
Rather than spending a first-round selection chasing the most expensive running backs, managers may be able to acquire a useful contributor at a considerably lower price.
Delta Fantasy Verdict: BUY for contenders.
If Warren can still be acquired for a second-round pick and a minor additional asset, we’re interested.
The market has moved upward, but that doesn’t automatically eliminate the buying opportunity.
Sometimes a player can rise in value and remain undervalued.
Ollie Gordon: A Rising Asset With an Affordable Entry Point
Sharp Tracker: +14 | 43 recent trades
Gordon’s trade activity reveals another interesting market discrepancy.
Recent transactions include:
- Gordon acquired for a 2027 third and a 2028 third.
- Gordon acquired for a 2027 second.
- Gordon acquired for a 2028 second and fourth.
The difference between two third-round selections and a second-round pick is meaningful in dynasty.
It suggests Gordon’s market has not settled on a consistent valuation.
For managers interested in acquiring younger running backs, this creates an opportunity to negotiate.
Delta Fantasy Verdict: BUY at a third-round price.
We would be interested in acquiring Gordon for two thirds, particularly in a league where the manager holding him hasn’t fully adjusted to his rising market value.
At a second-round price, the decision becomes more dependent on roster construction and league format.
The important takeaway is that a rising Sharp Tracker score doesn’t necessarily mean every manager is demanding an inflated return.
Ladd McConkey: A Falling Wide Receiver Worth Investigating
Sharp Tracker: -9 | 34 recent trades
McConkey is one of the more intriguing names among this week’s fallers.
Unlike some players on the list, his recent transactions provide useful comparisons.
Two separate trades exchanged McConkey straight up for Dalton Kincaid.
That gives us a clearer indication of how some dynasty managers are valuing him.
McConkey also appeared in a larger transaction involving Fernando Mendoza and a future first-round pick in exchange for Drake Maye.
That larger deal is difficult to isolate, but the repeated Kincaid exchanges are meaningful.
They establish a real market comparison rather than a theoretical calculator valuation.
Delta Fantasy Verdict: BUY-LOW CANDIDATE.
McConkey is worth targeting if another manager has become frustrated with his recent production or declining market value.
We aren’t recommending an aggressive overpay.
Instead, we’re looking for situations where managers are willing to exchange him for an asset they currently prefer.
Dynasty value is often created when short-term expectations and long-term potential begin moving in opposite directions.
The Veteran Running Back Market: Opportunity for Rebuilders
Several additional risers deserve attention because of the returns managers are receiving.
Rhamondre Stevenson (+10)
Stevenson appeared in two recent straight-up transactions returning 2027 second-round picks.
For a contender, that may represent a reasonable acquisition price.
For a rebuilding team, it represents an opportunity to turn an established running back into future draft capital.
Verdict: SELL for a second if rebuilding; HOLD if contending.
Aaron Jones (+10)
Two recent transactions returned 2027 third-round picks for Jones.
That gives rebuilding managers a realistic reference point when negotiating.
Jones may still provide useful fantasy production, but managers building for future seasons should consider moving him while contenders need immediate help.
Verdict: SELL to contenders.
Chuba Hubbard (+14)
Hubbard’s recent trades show a particularly wide valuation range.
One manager acquired him for a 2027 second.
Another deal required David Montgomery plus a 2027 second.
Those prices are not equivalent, but they demonstrate why testing the market is important.
If someone values Hubbard at the expensive end of that range, we would be willing to discuss a deal.
Verdict: HOLD or SELL at a premium.
Kenneth Walker (+11)
Walker’s recent transactions include an exchange for David Montgomery and a much larger deal involving DeVonta Smith, two future firsts, and Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
The difference is substantial.
We wouldn’t treat the larger package as a normal market price, but it illustrates how aggressively some managers may value Walker.
Verdict: SELL only if someone offers an elite return.
Bhayshul Tuten (+9)
Tuten’s trade history includes a package of a 2027 second and two 2028 thirds.
Another recorded transaction exchanged Tuten straight up for Jaylen Waddle.
That Waddle exchange stands out.
It’s not evidence that every manager values Tuten that highly, but it demonstrates that at least one completed transaction reached that level.
Verdict: SHOP HIGH.
Breece Hall (+10)
Hall has recently been acquired for a single 2027 first in one transaction and a 2027 first plus third in another.
A separate deal exchanged Quinshon Judkins for Hall.
Those returns suggest Hall remains a valuable dynasty asset, but one that may still be accessible without a massive package.
Verdict: SELECTIVE BUY.
Christian McCaffrey (+8)
McCaffrey’s recent trade history contains numerous multi-player packages, making his individual valuation difficult to isolate.
One cleaner transaction exchanged him for Omarion Hampton.
For contenders, McCaffrey remains the type of veteran worth holding when immediate production is the priority.
For rebuilders, the opportunity to acquire a younger cornerstone deserves consideration.
Verdict: HOLD for contenders; EXPLORE OFFERS if rebuilding.
The Remaining Fallers: Where We Stand
Not every declining player automatically represents a buying opportunity.
Sometimes the market is correctly adjusting to changing circumstances.
Here’s our assessment of the remaining names.
| Player | Movement | Delta Fantasy Verdict |
| Caleb Douglas | -10 | HOLD / speculative buy |
| Omar Cooper | -9 | HOLD / monitor |
| Davante Adams | -8 | Contender BUY |
| Deshaun Watson | -8 | AVOID significant investment |
| Emanuel Wilson | -7 | SELL for a third |
| Roman Wilson | -7 | Low-cost stash |
| Antonio Williams | -7 | HOLD / monitor |
| Tyson Bagent | -6 | Superflex speculative stash |
Davante Adams: A Contender’s Opportunity
Adams is particularly interesting because his recent trades provide reasonably clear acquisition benchmarks.
Recorded transactions include a 2027 second plus a 2028 third, and a 2028 second plus a 2028 third.
For a contender seeking wide receiver production, those are prices worth exploring.
The key is making sure the acquisition fits a legitimate championship window.
We wouldn’t recommend spending future assets on Adams simply because he’s cheaper than he used to be.
We would recommend investigating him if he fills a clear need on a competitive roster.
Emanuel Wilson: Convert Opportunity Into Capital
Wilson has recently been involved in transactions centered around third- and fourth-round draft picks.
If another manager is willing to offer a third, that is a reasonable opportunity for a rebuilding roster to consider.
Short-term running back opportunity can disappear quickly.
Turning temporary demand into a future asset is often sound dynasty management.
Deshaun Watson and Tyson Bagent: Format Matters
Quarterback values vary considerably between one-quarterback and superflex formats.
Watson’s recent transactions include a third-round selection in one deal and a larger pick exchange in another.
Bagent has been moved for late-round draft capital.
Neither is a player we’d aggressively pursue based on these transactions alone.
In deeper superflex leagues, however, inexpensive quarterback depth can retain some value.
Delta Fantasy’s Week 6 Action Board
| Player | Action | Target price or condition |
| Jaylen Warren | BUY | 2027 second plus minor asset |
| Ollie Gordon | BUY | Two third-round picks |
| Ladd McConkey | BUY LOW | Explore Kincaid-level exchanges |
| De’Von Achane | BUY-LOW WATCH | Seek a genuine discount |
| Breece Hall | BUY SELECTIVELY | Around one future first |
| Davante Adams | CONTENDER BUY | Second plus third |
| Michael Wilson | SELL HIGH | Seek a future first |
| Bhayshul Tuten | SHOP HIGH | Test premium WR valuations |
| Rhamondre Stevenson | SELL IF REBUILDING | Future second |
| Aaron Jones | SELL IF REBUILDING | Future third |
These are negotiating targets informed by recorded trades, not guaranteed market prices. League settings, pick position, scoring format, and roster needs can materially change fair value.
Final Thoughts: Don’t Confuse Market Movement With Player Value
The most important lesson from this week’s Sharp Tracker is that dynasty market movement and actual trade prices don’t always move together.
Michael Wilson is climbing rapidly, but managers are still assigning him dramatically different values.
De’Von Achane has experienced the largest decline of the week, yet he remains involved in substantial dynasty transactions.
Jaylen Warren is gaining recognition, but some managers are still willing to move him for second-round draft capital.
And the running back market is showing renewed demand for both young players and established veterans.
For dynasty managers, the objective isn’t to chase every rising player or immediately sell every faller.
The objective is to identify where the market has moved faster—or slower—than the player’s actual outlook justifies.
That’s where opportunities develop.
If you’re rebuilding, use the current demand for veteran running backs to explore acquiring future draft capital.
If you’re contending, look for productive players whose trade prices haven’t fully adjusted.
And if you’re holding a player whose market value has surged, don’t be afraid to test what other managers are willing to pay.
The best dynasty managers don’t simply react to market movement.
They recognize where the market is wrong.
